| This Sunday will
see the opening of *p_OO_f* gallery, owned by Music Hyun and GM
Nikolaidis. Juel Resistance will be playing her acoustic blues live,
followed by Dexter Ihnen and his spunkyfunkylicious songs. The evening
will be rounded off with an auction of two art pieces for the Relay For
Life. It starts at 4 p.m.
Music
Hyun is currently residing at Artropolis Island, but it’s getting
crowded there. That’s why she’ll now open her second gallery in Second
Life.

“The sim
where I was first, Brooks Wharf, is too sleepy for me. I tried to get
the other artists to coop on events, but gave up,” Hyun said. “Costs
for one alone to pay musicians et cetera are too high.” Hyun hopes that
she and Nikolaidis – “a dear friend” – will be able to create a lively
gallery.
The new gallery has
been built by the landlady, Peewee Musytari. “An excellent builder. She
also owns the first two of the coming 7 Deadly Sims, and our gallery is
at Envy.”
Hyun
says she likes to take pictures that are either very realistic, or
wildly unrealistic – “something that could never be in RL. I’m very
fascinated by Strawberry Holiday’s work, and take a lot of pictures of
her projects. She touches my heart. I can loose myself, become a part
of her work, especially at The Throes of Rapture,” Hyun said. She also
likes fantasy sims like the Black Swan, or dirty urban locations. “But
with people I seek a human look; something real.”
She
decribes Nikolaidis’ work as more high class and conventional than her
own. “He’s great at stylish fashion, and also does fantastic
landscapes. I am wilder, maybe.”
Hyun
and Nikolaidis have already planned a second arrangement on the 14th of
April. “That will be my first attempt to involve the other sim
residents. I hope to make events that all will profit from, creating
traffic, and get to know more and more people. But I cannot afford
doing it alone. I need the help of a team, and I think this will work
at Envy,” Hyun said.
