More than 700 virtual monarch butterflies are being released this weekend to celebrate Monarch Migration Weekend. The butterflies will be migrating across 7 sims to the Mexico sim.

In real life, people catch these butterflies very carefully in order to tag and study them. Lucky SL residents who catch a monarch butterfly may receive a special edition of Ode butterfly jewelry, created by Random Calliope. Calliope is a creator of wearable art and has been creating pieces for three years. Ode is an 8 piece jewelry set (hair piece, earrings, necklace, pendant, brooch, bracelet, ring) which at this moment has 22 color variations. The challenge is to complete full sets of one color for your Ode butterfly collection.
